Local Natives hail Los Angeles and released their debut album, Gorilla Manor, in November last year.
Formerly known as Cavil at Rest,the five-piece produce a light hearted pop sound somewhat similar to Vampire Weekend and Fleet Foxes. Their sound is quite infectious and their album is an enjoyable listen.
Sadly, only one UK date in the forseeable future, 15 June at the Shepherd's Bush Empire. Hopefully more dates including festivals will pop up soon!
