Yves Béhar and his team at Fuseproject have teamed up with Puma to create a shoebox that cuts water, energy and fuel consumption by 60% and will save the company millions.
The box incorporates a recyclable cardboard insert which rests snugly inside a recycled PET bag that can be re-used. The project apparently took 3 years to research and design but it seems we could be seeing this, and ideas from other manufacturers, in the near future.
